24/5: Amazing first day! We missed our train from Chester so cycled an extra 10 miles to Ellesmere Port along the canal tow path. Arrived in Liverpool about 6. Met some fabulous people who were so helpful. Lots to tell already. We have already met some wonderful people. An eventful first day! We weren’t the first to sign the book so had to be on a top bunk! Tricky!!
