Ride to Knoll Beach, Studland

Terrain: Tarmac, Sea & Sand
1. FERRY:
£1 one way only – plus another £1 each way for the bike
Leaves every 20 minutes so no point in aiming for one in particular
Group size rules apply and masks to be worn on the ferry
2. ROUTE:
Shorter Ride:
Debi, Ned, Judi & Alex are coming as far as Sandbanks – return home
Longer Ride:
Please email Mel if you are planning on going to Knoll Beach,
he needs to advise the Ferry terminal of numbers in advance

Mel spoke to the ferry company this morning, gave them details and they confirm we’re good to go! At the moment, we have 9 members going to Knoll Beach and 4 coming as far as the ferry. The ferry has 20 ‘socially distanced’ cycle places and at around 11.30am. they don’t anticipate a lack of spaces for us. Masks must be worn, but snorkels are optional! With 13, maybe more, travelling we’re into multiple ‘sgrs’ to stay within the guidelines. Maybe Ned. could lead Judi, Debi and Alex as a group doing the round-trip as far as the ferry, and I’ll split the 9 into 2 separate groups?
