Ride: Cowes for Lunch (still not a whole one)!

Departing from the castle 08:30 prompt or meet at Lymington Ferry

Buy your own tickets online – £18 return if you remember to select the senior price or at the ferry terminal preferably in advance

10:00 Ferry Lymington-Yarmouth

17:05 Ferry Yarmouth-Lymington

(NB: Last time we got back in time for the 16:05, and they let us all straight on. But I’m still booking the 17:05 to allow for any mishaps!!)

Distance: c.50 miles. (11 to ferry, 13 to Cowes, 13 to ferry, 11 back to Castle)

Terrain: tarmac, slight gravel c0.5 mile out of Yarmouth

Pub lunch in Cowes

We will be back at the Castle by 7pm latest, possibly an hour earlier if we manage to catch the earlier ferry

There will be no coffee stops, as there are refreshments on the ferry

I’ll need an idea of numbers a week or so in advance to book lunch
