The Potting Shed
A warm welcome to Peter who joined the Wheelers on today’s ride. It was John Bry.’s birthday so it was cakes all round on him at The Potting Shed – whoo hoo!
Refreshed, it was onto the first of the gravel tracks as Andrew lead the group onto Hampton Ridge to Fritham with Chris pointing out WW2 sights and view-points.
Long Beach is a lovely straight road and a cyclists favourite as it was once a WW2 airfield runway. Plenty more miles and gravel to ride but once the Rising Sun pub had been spotted they all knew the familiar route back home!
