Lepe
What a great day was had by all on Wednesday! 10 of us enjoyed a great scenic day out. Although the temperatures were supposed to be in the 30’s a breeze and plenty of hydration kept us all comfortable. First stop was coffee at Bucklers Hard, and with a lunch stop at Lepe. Some of the group were tempted to swim but one look at the masses of seaweed at the shoreline and the pebbles to negotiate we decided not to bother!
It was suggested that the last stop would be the Rising Sun, Bashley where we stopped for a well earned pint which refreshed us for our final pedal home!. (approx 53 miles)
